“The Naperville Senior Center has served the Naperville community for many years. In fact, my mother attended the Senior center in 2005. She had Alzheimers and was no longer able to live on her own and was living with me, my husband and my daughters. We loved having her in our home, but with everyone either working or at school, there was no one to take care of her during the day. The Naperville Senior Center provided exactly what we needed. She went to the Center everyday and she was well cared for and enjoyed going.

“Wonderful place! I would give them 10 stars if I could! Mom can’t stay alone, but we are not ready for a nursing home. This is the perfect place!!! The staff is so nice and kind. They treat each member with love and respect and provide excellent nursing care. They have plenty of activities, nursing care and exercise opportunities. They also serve a delicious lunch meal. “My husband was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer’s about five years ago. As the disease slowly progressed I was at a loss to provide daily activities as well as the social interaction he needs. Naperville Senior Center was recommended to me and I thought it was worth checking out. I am so glad I did. I have found it to be a wonderful place where I can take him for a few hours a day to meet people, make friends and keep busy with lots of fun activities. Did I mention fun? It is not unusual for me to walk in and find Wayne in the middle of a competitive WII bowling match or singing some karaoke. Wayne loves coming here, and I recently decided to bring him an extra day each week.

“My 90 year old father has Parkinson’s and I work full time. I needed to take him somewhere where he would be safe and get the nursing care he needs. Now I know that he is taken care of and he really enjoys going. I found it at Naperville Senior Center. I can’t thank them enough for helping me and providing quality nursing care. It is very difficult taking care of a loved one and having somewhere that listens to my needs and helps me in any way they can is such a relief. No matter what I have asked of them to help me with, they have found a way to make it happen. My Dad is incontinent and gets fed through a tube in his stomach and they take care of that during the day while I am at work. I couldn’t find anybody to do that for me and now it is something I don’t have to worry about at all. Plus they do therapy with him to get him to move better and the main thing is he absolutely loves it there. He does all kinds of activities, crafts, games, etc. He lights up when he knows he is going to go there. There are lots of people for him to talk to and make as friends. I can’t say enough about this facility. I highly recommend it. It has saved me and made my life bearable in so many ways. I have looked into many different facilities and tried several and this center is by far the best we have ever found. We will be going here for the rest of my Dad’s life. We just love it!!”
